So you decided that you want to make a Skydive jump and are thrilled about it and we welcome you with open arms… We are so glad that other people get to join us in the infinite blue playground…

If you just want to jump once and be done with it…. I will strongly suggest a Tandem jump. Get a video and stills so you will remember it forever.

If you want to become a licensed skydiver you will have to follow the progression program, read more about it in the “Getting your license” pages.

Now, you might be waiting for your friends to make up their minds…and they are just not as ready as you are…so DO what I DID……

I made my reservation and I was there one Saturday morning and my life changed, met incredible people who appreciate you for who you are and not for what you do…we don’t like BS from people..either talk about skydiving, safety, techniques or Naked people…

Important First Jump Factors:

  • You must weigh less than 220 lbs. Please check with the Drop-Zone about weight limits, some Drop-Zones need to make special arrangements for overweight persons if you plan to do a Tandem Jump (this might apply if you are going to do an AFF Jump).
  • You must be at least 18 years old. Picture ID with date of birth will be checked.
  • Do not give blood or scuba dive within 24 hours before jumping.
  • Let’s hope you are not intoxicated or with a major hang-over, you will not enjoy the ride.
  • Let the instructor know if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure

Plan to spend most of the day at the Drop Zone, even though Drop Zones have schedules; weather and the number of people, might cause delays. While you are waiting for your turn you will meet new friends…Skydivers we are a bunch of people who really like to talk and make new friends…. We might talk you into getting your license.

Note: Drop Zones are not suitable for Children or Pets…Please check with the Drop Zone Operator about their “House Rules” and remember that Drop Zones are Adult Playgrounds and usually we (well me) are not in our best behavior.

These Sports are extremely dangerous and they may cause serious injuries and/or death
